FAVORITE MUSIC:
Lately I have been all about my boys in FREEDOM HAWK! Also anythng on the harder side - Tool, Mudvayne, Taproot, Flaw, Ill Nino. I am also a sucker for some reggae - Steel Pulse, classic Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and not to mention some laid back Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson. I like some punk music - Face to Face, Bouncing Souls, 7Seconds, Fugazi, Misfits. Oh, and then there is my main man Otis Redding, along with some Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone.
FAVORITE MOVIES/TV:
I am a big fan of comedy - I have enough drama and crap in my life, so I like my movies to be on the lighter side and to make me laugh - hard. So, with that said, I like movies like Office Space, Old School, 50 First Dates, Anchorman and so on. I do sometimes like horror movies, but not nearly as much as my husband. As far as T.V. I think I would stop breathing if I did not get my fix of Saturday Night Live, but I also like Scrubs, CSI (the Vegas one), Grey's Anatomy, Reno 911, King of Queens, The Office, 30 Rock and Earl (Don't You Judge Me).
FAVORITE BOOKS:
I really never have time to read books anymore, you know with that whole full-time career and mom gig I got going on, but some of my favorites from the past are The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, The Prophet by Khalil Gibran and The Witching Hour by Anne Rice - What a mix!. Lately I have been downloading audiobooks into my iPod and taking them on the road with me, so I have been enjoying Dry and Running w/ Scissors by Augusten Burroughs and The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (a must read thanks to my friend Nadine).
