We have started Round 2 of the Tushoobi flu at the Scanlon household. Ashton spent the entire weekend throwing up. I thought he was over it, but as I was in the shower this morning getting ready for work, I heard the familiar sound coming from the bedroom. He had thrown up everywhere. After getting him bathed (not planned) and getting to work (late) I received a call that Kaiden is now throwing up. What the Hell?

Apparently, someone upstairs has said..."wouldn't it be funny if we picked a family and made sure that at least one family member is sick every week this winter, and sometimes, we'll make sure there are multiple illnesses, yeah and then we'll let them just pass it back and forth until one of the parents loses their job from missing so much work, and that family will be......THE SCANLON'S!!! - Oh what fun!"

The sad thing is that I am not good with throw up, I can handle the diarrhea, but when the baby starts to throw up, instead of comforting him and making sure he is not scared, I hold him out with straight arms facing the opposite direction as I run towards a sink, toilet or any non-carpeted area, him throwing up the whole way. My husband yells at me when I do this, saying that I am scaring the hell out of him, but I cannot help it, its instinct. I am sure that Todd and I will have it too!
