F*CKING ANTS!

I have ants in my kitchen… which is absolutely ABSURD, because I keep my kitchen immaculate. It is wiped down from top to bottom daily, more than daily. It is mopped weekly. There is no food out on my counters. But the ants, they keep coming. I have bought traps - lots of traps, that are now all over my kitchen. I kill them every time I am in the kitchen, but they just keep coming and I cannot tell where they are actually coming from. I am now officially over their presence. I want them dead. Any suggestions?

I swear by those ant baits that are small and white and round that have like a flower imprinted on them.

The exterminator's stuff is supposedly safer for kids and pets than putting out traps. *shrug* Even if it gave my kids gills, I'd still have the exterminator.

Do not kill the ants if you see them, I know it is really gross, but if you kill them, they won't be able to take the baits back to their nest. Terro works really well. It is not about how clean or dirty your kitchen is, here it is because it is so hot, they come in to seek water.
Posted by Liz on 2009-09-10 00:33:01 I think ants like a clean house actually. Those little bastards are hard as hell to get rid of. I paid an exterminator $90 to come get rid of them. Since it was guaranteed, he had to come back at the 3 month mark but they are gone.
