Pie Plunge

ASHTON:
Umm, Mom, could you please come here to me?

ME:
What’s the matter buddy?

ASHTON:
Something bad happened Mom, could you please come here for a minute?

ME:
*coming into the kitchen and seeing pie all over the floor*
Ashton, what did you do?

ASHTON:
I am just ever so sorry Mommy.

ME:
UGHHH!!! Ashton, why did you touch that.

ASHTON:
Please Mom, you need to just clean up that pie now.

ME:
*turning and laughing at his sincere face so he cannot see, then turning back around*
WHY WERE YOU TOUCHING IT?

ASHTON:
I was just going to bring that pie to you Mommy.

ME:
Ashton, you should not have touched it.

ASHTON:
I will never make a pie again Mommy.
