I’m hurting today from my night out last night for Dena’s birthday, so we are spending our Sunday being lazy and I agreed to a Scrabble challenge from Kaiden… which is just making my head hurt worse!

Reply to this meme by typing Words! in the comments, and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them on your blog and explain what they mean to you.
My words come from none other than Atomic Bombshell, whom I adore. Did you know she was one of my very first “online friends” - her Friglet and Smizzo. God it seems so long ago now. I am so so happy that I was able to meet these three awesome people in Vegas. Anyways, here are the words that she chose for me:
Joyful
I love that she picked this word to describe me. It is not always easy to be joyful, but I try. I make it a point in my life to keep a lot of the negative hidden - well not so much hidden, but not at the forefront. I have never wanted to be known as the person that has nothing else to talk about beside problems and negative things in life. I would MUCH rather be known as the life of the party and the one who lights up a room… I really do try to enjoy life.
Hilarious
My sense of humor gets me through life. Plain and simple. I am so thankful that I come from a family of people with a great sense of humor, that I am surrounded by good friends that share in that sense of humor and that I can see that sense of humor in my kids. If you can’t find humor in EVERY situation and laugh… A LOT, you probably will not get along with me.
Organized
I am a little TOO organized - to the point of it being OCD really. I can’t stand unorganized chaos - it stresses me out. I like everything to be where it is supposed to be, plans made, etc. - it keeps me calm.
Fun-loving
I do love having fun. I love to laugh, I love making memories and I love feeling happy. I am always game for a good time!
Friend
This word means a lot to me. I value my friendships - they mean the world to me. Sometimes I am not the best in keeping in touch or responding. Sometimes I forget things. Sometimes I just suck in general - but I try so hard not to. My friends have gotten me through some really hard times, and are there for me whenever I need them and it means so much to me that the thought of it makes me tear up instantly. I try to be the same type of friend back.
Thanks for my words Bombshell! I love the ones you picked!

Yesterday morning, Dena and I were sitting out on the couch on my front porch enjoying our morning coffee, chatting about life, while the kids were inside the house playing a game of Tumblin’ Monkeys, which was known as KerPlunk and played with marbles instead of monkeys when I was growing up, but I digress… we were doing our normal weekend morning thing, minding our own business. All of a sudden, while taking a sip of my coffee, I can see out of the corner of my eye, my neighbor across the street appear in his bedroom window and just about choked on my coffee.
There he was, standing there, in his black bikini underwear and NOTHING else. If I had to guess this man’s age, I would guess he was in his 60’s and he is a big man. Far too big for the teeny tiny bikini underwear he was sporting. So Dena and I sat there, staring at him, drinking our coffee and he stood there, in front of his window, talking on the phone, not caring about the two women across the street gagging on their once delicious coffee and with their jaws on the ground. This continued for at least 15 minutes. Long enough for us to completely get over our shock, for me to run inside and grab my camera, talking to the kids for a few minutes in the process and go back outside, get settled back on the couch and take a photo. Finally he turned, picked his underwear out of his butt, then faded into the distance of his bedroom.
Dena and I debated for a while after he was gone on whether or not we should leave his wife an anonymous note on their front door, letting her know she may want to make sure the upstairs blinds are closed until her husband is fully dressed for the day, or maybe suggest that it is time to start buying her husband some larger underwear. We have not decided which route to take yet. Any suggestions?
