When I was in 7th Grade, I met the first love of my life.  He was one of the best looking guys at our Junior High and lucky for me - we “went out” on and off through most of Junior High.  He was a typical surfer guy and was way too cool to be all lovey dovey in front of our friends or to write me love notes while we were at school - although he was a really funny guy and I have lots of great memories with him.  While unpacking my stuff at the new place I did happen to stumble upon the first and ONLY note I ever received from him and it made me chuckle.  He had such a way with words for a 7th grader.  Ahhhh, memories…  click below to enlarge.

I am so happy that you are finally here this week.  I am totally going to make love to you today and I will be on top the whole time - I am THAT happy to see you.  You deserve that… you deserve more than just a lazy “TGIF.”  Hope it’s as good for you as it’s going to be for me.  XOXOXO

Sporadic email from my mom this morning:

I have really been practicing these, since my grand plan is to quit this damn decent paying 8-5 job and become a pro breakdancer.  I got my boom box complete with my Grandmaster Melle Mel & the Furious Five cassette tape, my piece of cardboard to carry around so that I can break where ever and whenever, I’ve been practicing my popping and have seen Beat Street like 999 times.  Now I just need to get these crucial facial expressions down and I am all over that shit!!!

I went and saw Nadine during my lunch break today and got my hair cut. She cut layers into the front for me. Big step for me!!! I usually just get the bottom trimmed.
