In case you have not noticed, things have kind of SUCKED around here lately and I would like to apologize.  I have done a crappy job with updating.  Things have been so busy in my life right now, that I am just trying to keep my head above water.  Between work, sick kids and trying like hell to lose weight, I barely have time to breathe!  So I am sorry about the lack of updates and my lack of commenting over at your sites.  I will try to be better!

UPDATE: I am doing fine guys…just REALLY busy.  I am 16 pounds down and doing well on my dieting.  That is a squirt gun in the ‘ole picture up there…it’s the sick “Beast” that is the cause of my stresses this week.  Thanks for all the concern!

P.S. Please take a minute and go over and say hello to my new blog tenant.  Her name is Grace (very pretty) and her blog is titled “Life According to Princess Grace” - Gosh, a real live princess - I am liked by royalty people!!!  Doesn’t that count for something? somewhere?  Go now and “grace” her with your presence!

A couple weeks ago, the kids and I were on our way home from work/daycare and Kaiden decided to ask me how babies come out of their mommy’s tummies.  I sat there for a second, silent, thinking “Shit, how am I going to answer this, she is only four!”  She continued:

KAIDEN:
“How did I get out of your tummy Mommy?”

ME:
“Well, I pushed and pushed and you finally just came out.” 

KAIDEN:
“Out where, Mommy?”

ME:
“Well, you came out of Mommy’s tootie”
Tootie = what Kaiden calls her business.

KAIDEN: *beginning to cry and get upset*
“That is disgusting mommy, don’t you EVER say that I came out of a tootie.  I can’t believe you would say that.  It is so disgusting!”

ME:
“Okay, sorry, but it’s the truth.”

So, since this conversation took place, Kaiden has brought up the subject a bazillion times, and each time she tries to word things differently so that I will tell her that babies are born some other way.  She has started in with God and Jesus creating everyone.  She has brought up the stork – EVERYTHING.  Each time we get right back to how a baby is really born and she says “Don’t even say that I came out of a tootie again mommy!”  Whenever we talk about it, she starts to gag (really) and becomes overwhelmed with disgust.  She refuses to believe that a baby would come out of a mommy that way.  It has become the funniest conversation that we have – on a daily basis!!!  Oh the power of truth!

The new Treo 700w with Windows Mobile.  I want one of these SO BAD I CAN TASTE IT!  I had the Treo 650 and LOVED it, but could not get the damn thing to sync right with my exchange server at work because of the Palm operating system, etc. etc., and had to give it up for something that was Windows based.

Right now they are only being offered through Verizon - which totally sucks, because my account is with Sprint.  Sprint has always been the first to get the Treo’s in the past, and really screwed up by not being first this time.  Hopefully, they will have it within the next few months - time to start saving my money!

Well, apparently I am not the brightest bulb in the box and continue to inflict pain on myself.  In an effort to start feeling better, I decided to start using up the year long tanning membership that I have not been using.  Because I am in the process of trying to shed all of the unwanted pounds that I have been carrying since Ashton was born, I decided to start the tanning to jump start the “feeling good about yourself” process - because everyone knows that tanned fat looks better than white fat anyday!

Well, I have been going for about a week and doing well.  Today, I decided to say okay when they decided to up my time by two minutes.  MISTAKE!  I can feel myself sitting here as I type, still baking.  My face is a bit swollen, and my bra is hurting me.  I am quite sure that this is going to get worse before it gets better.  So much for looking good - now I look like a huge tomatoe.  OUCH!
