This week, Todd quit his job.  He has been head-hunted by this other company for about a year now and their offer was finally too good to pass up.  So this should be a great thing for the family.  Ashton was sick with a stomach virus at the end of the week, passing it along to his sister over the weekend - fun times at our house!  I basically followed the kids around with a pair of rubber gloves on and a can of Lysol, spraying everything that they touched.

On Saturday, we did stop by our little buddy Gabe’s birthday party.  He turned three and we had a good time.

On the Calendar for Next Week:
I need to get off my ass and buy my kids some kind of Halloween Costumes before there are none left!

Need to get the “Honey Do” list completed since Todd will be off for a week before starting the new job!

What idiotic things have you done for love?
I think an easier question is what haven’t I done?  The stupidest would have to be forgetting about myself and actually thinking that “life would not go on without him,” when it clearly did!!!!

What do you do to stop hiccups?
I usually turn on the old gas range and force myself to stick my hand on it for two minutes straight.  The severe third degree burn usually makes me forget all about the hiccups.  Just kidding, I usually hold my breath, but if it is my daughter who has them, I will hide and jump out and scare the piss out of her!

BOO:
Ashton has a severe case of the flaming cha-cha’s and it has created one heck of a nasty diaper rash - we’re talking bloody cheeks people!

Due to the fact that I had to stay home today, I have gotten ALL the laundry done.  Did you hear me? ALL!

MommaK is hosting a funny “Worst School Picture” contest today.  So I started going through what pictures that I could find (without having to drive to my parents house or open boxes in the attic).  Now, MommaK rejected my pictures and said they weren’t ugly enough (I’ll have to dig deeper), but it became very evident that I have not changed at all.  I think I will probably look the same until the day I die.  My friend Nadine has joked me about this for as long as I can remember.  Now you can too – I can’t let all my hard work go to waste!

UPDATE:
Nadine posted some of her pictures (hilarious) and one of them happens to be her 9th Grade Dance picture.  We showed up wearing the same damn dress - which was a complete surprise.
